How To Make 2006 Your Best Year Ever! It’s hard to believe how fast the year has gone. It feels like only yesterday that Barbara and I were celebrating last new
year’s eve watching the fireworks out over Sydney Harbour. Have you ever noticed that as you get older, time seems to speed up? You started the year with all

Lessons in Marketing Following up our last article on “People don’t buy what they NEED, they only buy what they WANT, when THEY are READY to buy it.” I’d
like to make a couple of points… First: People buy on the basis of self interest. Always! Second: A person’s self interest can be quite different to the organisation’s.
Let me explain… In a small business the self interest of the owner is going to be the same as the business. What’s good for the owner is naturally going to be good
for the business. The person is the business. Contrast this with a large organisation.
